If ever there was a place which was both 'past and present' then surely it would be Sidmouth. Sidmouth has refused to conform to the 'kiss-me-quick' amusement-arcade atmosphere of many other resorts found along the coastline — Sidmouth is a 'class act' among resorts. Although it is the buildings which are the focal point of attention, this little book also features many of the famous 'folk' who have visited Sidmouth at one time or another. This book contains beautiful pencil illustrations by local artist, Andrea Barber.
