mist-shrouded, granite-strewn moorland of the famous National Park; it
is the grim, grey, granite gaol known as HMP Dartmoor. The casual
holidaymaker, who stops in a lay-by near Princetown prison to snap a
photo of family members with the distant prison also in view, has little
