Our families have lived in the village for generations. Working as a team we have combined our own memories with local knowledge. Maurice then put the mass of information and photographs into some kind of order! We enjoyed doing it — we hope you enjoy it as well!

As its name suggests, this book is the second part of a 'journey' through Withycombe Raleigh by means of old postcards and photographs combined with the memories of some enthusiastic 'locals'. Part two generally contains more up-to-date images, and continues to tell the story of this ancient village, which, although enveloped by greater Exmouth, retains its village feel and still boasts many established families.
